Stair Trek: Core to Cosmos

2016-17

a permanent sound and animation installation in a seven story stairwell, for the Madison Children’s Museum (Madison, WI)

Jojin Van Winkle interviewed over 200 children  and over 500 children gave drawings for the project. The drawings were compiled in to animaations and the interviews become the source for the soundscapes. Van Winkle created the animations and soundscapes. Museum staff painted the murals in the stairwells.
